Access For All

We provide accessible trails and facilities where we can. These are intended to give a greater level of access to our parks and recreational areas to people with limited mobility and special needs.Over recent years, we have upgraded our trails to provide some sealed or firm surfaces - these include boardwalks at Ards Forest Park and Cavan Burren Park and tarred trails at Portumna Forest Park to give people confidence on the trail under-foot or under-wheel. It is not possible to provide these facilities in all areas but we continue to upgrade where we can each year.
