Watchable Wildlife

Dublin Mountains Way

This newly opened 42 km route between Shankill and Tallaght across the Dublin Mountains has many excellent panoramic views. Also along the route there are a series of 6 Watchable Wildlife signs which describe the likely wildlife species you may see, or see traces of their recent activity or hear the sounds they make, at some distinct points along that route.

The species described are the red squirrel, kestrel, red grouse, jay, Sika deer and badger.
